when people's expectation is too high on you, sometimes its not a thing which can help to push you in doing something better. it turns to be a big rock that hit your head and repeatedly tell you that "YOU ARE STILL NOBODY and NOTHING".
when you stand in one position or stuck in one stage that automatically labels you as "someone-who-must-and-exactly-can-do-anything". people's opinion about everything that is good about you, surely it can't make you smile as happy as before. When they call you as "hey, mrs somebody" its sound like "hey, mrs. you-think-that-you-are-somebodyt".
i think they are totally wrong if they think that i can-do-anything or know-everything.
hey ma,pa you have to know that your daughter is not as "WONDERFUL" as you think
hey guys, dont you ever think that my high GPA means something that similar with "happy is the smart one"
hey everybody outside..i am nobody and nothing, so dont you ever think that i have 100achievements in my life
life is too hard if you show your stupid and innocent face outside, so i just try to use my i-am-somebody face at day and work hard at night to fill my blank head for my next day. and one by one i always try to collect something that i can call as achievement but maybe for other its just "small and unvaluable thing".what a pity, but maybe thats my portion: collecting unvaluable things.
They are trying to always motivated you "try more, try more, try more,,, your limit is still high, just try to jump higher, don't you ever said that you cant do that".
who make a mistakes here? they who maybe dont know for sure how high my limit is and just can tell me to jump higher.or myself who create a limit that is too short and too much giving permission to myself for having some pleasure times.
you never can satisfy everybody's expectation on you. and if you make it as a list and check it one by one, it just help you become crazy. you think that you've already tried everything but why the list is not getting shorter, and their face still show you that "HEY, YOUR EFFORTS ARE NOT ENOUGH".
and when the nobody syndrome comes, all things become heavier than before..

I invite you to listen to "James" by Billy Joel.
Lyrics follow:
James...we were always friends,
From our childhood days
And we made our plans,
And we had to go our seperate ways.
I went on the road-
You pursued an education.
James...do you like your life,
Can you find release,
And will you ever change-
Will you ever write your masterpiece.
Are you still in school-
Living up to expectations?...James...
You were so relied upon, everybody knows how hard you tried-
Hey...look at what a job you've done,
Carrying the weight of family pride.
James...you've been well behaved,
You've been working hard
But will you always stay-
Someone else's dream of who you are?
Do what's good for you, or you're not good for anybody...James.
I went on the road-
You pursued an education...James...
How you gonna know for sure-everything was so well organized.
Hey...now everything is so secure,
and everybody else is satisfied.
James...do you like your life,
Can you find release
And will you ever change,
When will you write your masterpiece.
Do what's good for you, or you're not good for anybody...James...
And in case you think Billy Joel came up with "James" out of nowhere, James was real. Read on http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~pstuart/bjoel.html
"But will you always stay-
Someone else's dream of who you are? "
that's about people's expectation, and sometimes it can make us become crazy when we cannot satisfy it..
